You want to experience the desert surrounding the dunes of Erg Chebbi? You would like to visit the local nomads and Gnaoua musicians?

Your driver will pick you up at your accommodation after breakfast. You will visit the mines where workers are still mining Khol for the traditional make-up. If you are interested, you can have a walk around and look for some fossils.

From here you will follow the Paris-Dakar piste, that is still clearly visible in the sand. You can stop at a small nomad camp and maybe have some tea before heading to a panoramic viewpoint for some photo.

Next stop is the town of Khamlia, famous across all of Morocco for its Gnaoua music. So have a listen before heading to a local restaurant for a Berber pizza lunch.

If you book the full day tour, you will continue on from here to the city of Rissani to check out the souk. It is market day on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday when the town is full with people from the surrounding little villages. It is so much fun to watch the hustle and bustle.
